Some nights are like this

Again, it's just me and Maria tonight.
We have three patients.
She took two, and I got the crazy I had last night.
She's possibly an attempted suicide, but using the excuse that she doesn't remember having taken her anti-depressants, so she kept taking them all in one sitting.

Super needy.
On the call light every couple of minutes.
This is an ICU?

Gah.
67 days until I'm out of here.
on the funny side, I asked my charge to set up a time to talk to her about switching to PM shift (3 to 11 pm) and though we haven't talked, she's telling people I'm going to switch to PMs. This would likely be in July, so I wonder about ethically taking that position if I'm only going to give notice after a week or two.

Still, it would be nice to sleep normally for a month before heading back to New York.
